‘It was an amazing trip and I’m sure you’ll get more people doing it next year. The organisation was superb and we were looked after so well by the crew the whole way down. I wasn’t sure before I started how we would gel as a group but after day one it was clear there wouldn’t be any problems. The route was also very carefully and thoughtfully planned which, helped by the unbelievable weather, made the experience even better’
David Hodge, London to Monte Carlo 2014
Has the challenge lived up to your expectations? ‘Yes, very much so. From pre-event right through to the finish in Monte Carlo, I thought the organisation, support, route and overall experience was brilliant. I just wanted to say a huge thank you again for organising an amazing trip. Really had a great time from start to finish, and credit to you guys for that! Have already recommended the trip to a few other people and will definitely be putting my name down for End to End or perhaps some other cycling trip you might organise in the next couple of years’
Sam Hollies, London to Monte Carlo 2014
‘I loved every minute. Everything from the organisation down to the sense of achievement at finishing the challenge was perfect’
Ian Lawson, London to Monte Carlo 2014
‘Without Question one of, if not the best experiences/challenge of my life. The entire experience massively exceeded all my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to test themselves and really have a great time whilst doing it. Thank you to Wooden Spoon and Events Unlimited, I feel, and I know the team did too, privileged to have participated. Slightly guilty, apart from the Alpine sections, that I was having such a fantastic time. The BEST support team and the BEST participants in terms of like minded characters, for a very very worthy cause’
Steve McShane, London to Monte Carlo 2013
‘Overall the event was hard to fault, amazing attention to detail, loads of experience and useful advice, wonderful, motivating, knowledgeable people in the support team. The wonderful support provided set the tone for the event and made it a brilliant experience. Thank you’
Ray Beddoes, London to Monte Carlo 2013
‘I thought it was one of the most enjoyable, memorable experiences of my life. It was incredibly tough and in many ways, I wish I knew at the beginning of the year what I now know about riding a bike, the preparation, the training, the route etc. That was for me to find out and the event was made all the better by the excellent support crew, who all had something to give to make the event better’
Ross Baker, London to Monte Carlo 2013
